Whether it’s a therapeutic massage, a workshop on mindfulness in the workplace or a presentation on living with chronic pain, these are the principles that guide my work:

Health is a dynamic state of Being

Health is not a thing that can be given or taken away, bought or sold; it is a way of understanding and experiencing our individual nature in relationship with the larger whole.

Our health is deeply interlaced with how we live our lives, the choices we make, the thoughts and ideas we create, our beliefs, relationships, and environment. As much as health is a balanced state of physical functioning, it is also a balanced state of mind, of senses, of exuberance and purpose.

Embodying Health is spiritual activism

When we embody the principles of health (which include

conscious choice-making, relationship, and mindfulness) we are creating an internal environment that deeply affects the environment in our families and communities.

what’s new:
I was interviewed on “Health & Spirituality” by a colleague, friend, and fantastic coach Vanessa Smith. I think the second-half of the conversation is especially juicy.http://www.letyourlifebloom.com/let-your-life-bloom-teleseries-kate-shankari-sadowsky-.htmlhttp://www.letyourlifebloom.com/let-your-life-bloom-teleseries-kate-shankari-sadowsky-.htmlshapeimage_3_link_0shapeimage_3_link_1

on the internet:
I admire all the ways people are connecting online, and I just haven’t gotten into it (yet). But one truth remains: it’s good to have friends.
